A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT Hello Everyone and a huge welcome to our new members. The Mid-Winter Training Conference in Helen, Georgia was a tremendous success. Everyone seemed to enjoy the training, food and fellowship during the conference. As we enter the month of July, plans are underway for the 51st annual Summer Training Conference and you will find the registration forms, hotel information, and GPA membership application as part of the newsletter as well as on this website. I hope to see you all there! The format
for this year’s conference will undergo some changes. Plans are being made to kick off the training session on Wednesday
August 13th with some special guests from the Governor’s Office. Hopefully this will allow time for various
afternoon activities for Thursday August 14th. A golf tournament will be held at Indian Mounds golf course. Additionally,
if there are enough participants, beach volleyball, tennis, firearms simulator, and a fun run will be held during this time
period. Please watch the web-site at www.gaprobationassoc.org for more details regarding information for these events. Also our awards ceremony will be held during breakfast
on Friday morning.
